Manuel Nobili

Founder and Tutor

Manuel is a teacher of the Italian language for non native students.
He graduated in 2007 from the DILIT International House in Rome, Italy, an avant-guarde institute in teacher training.
In Italy he worked in Rome and in Frosinone for Italian language schools and Community Centres.
He taught mostly adults from very different backgrounds, including refugees.
After relocating to Edinburgh, he worked as a teacher for the Council and for some language schools.
In October 2009 he set up Edinburgh Italian Classes.

Fulvia Mignozzetti

Tutor

Fulvia is a teacher of Italian for non-native speakers. She graduated in Languages,
Literature and Translation from La Sapienza University in Rome, her home city, with a one-year study period in Aachen, Germany.
She has always been very passionate about languages and cinema.
She translated TV series and documentaries for television and also worked as a consecutive interpreter.
She currently teaches Italian for a Swiss language school and teaches English for Italian speakers.

Luca Cantarutti

Tutor

Luca has been living in Edinburgh since 2015.
After teaching English as a foreign language in Italian Primary Schools since early 90s,
he moved to Birmingham in 2006 where he worked for 9 years as a teacher of Italian to young kids.
Once in Scotland he decided to enhance his knowledge obtaining the “DILS-PG level 2”,
a certificate issued by the University of Perugia for teaching Italian to adult learners.
He finds his job challenging but very rewarding.

Francesca Grimaldi

Tutor

Francesca Grimaldi is a teacher of Italian for foreigners.
After studying literature in Milan, she moved to Mexico, where she discovered her passion for teaching the Italian language and culture.
She worked at the Italian Cultural Institute and the Dante Alighieri Society in Mexico City
and specialized in Italian language teaching by completing a master’s program at the University of Venice and obtaining CEDILS certification. After 9 years in Mexico, she worked for 2 years in France as a university lecturer and has recently arrived in Edinburgh,
ready to spread the love for the language and culture of Italy.
