Private tuition and shared tuition
Cancellations
- Classes are 90 minutes long unless otherwise stated
- Classes are arranged depending on the availability of tutors
- The fee for private tuition and shared tuition shown on this website refers to classes held online
Cancellations must be received in writing (email, text, whatsapp) with a 24 hour notice.
If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice you might be given one or more options to reschedule the class during the same week at no extra cost.
If the class can not be rescheduled during the same week you will be charged the regular fee you would have paid for your class.
Group courses
- Classes are 90 minutes long unless otherwise stated
- All courses are 8 week long unless otherwise stated
- Classes you miss will not be repeated, credited or rescheduled
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing (email, text, whatsapp).
If you cancel your enrolment less than 14 days before the course starting date no refund will be given.
If you cancel your enrolment more than 14 days before the course starting date Edinburgh Italian Classes will refund any fee paid less any transaction charges.
There is no refund if you cancel your enrolment on or after the course start date.
Changes to courses
Edinburgh Italian Classes reserves the right to cancel group courses when the level of enrolments does not meet the minimum number needed to run a course (usually three enrolments), in this case a full refund will be given.
In case the tutor cannot teach a class due to illness or events beyond our control every effort will be made to give reasonable notice.
In this case the finish date of group courses will be delayed by one week, otherwise classes which have not been held can be rescheduled on a different date, providing all the students agree to the change.
If these two options are not suitable refunds can be given for cancelled classes.
